ILLEGAL LABOR BODY.
IMPORTANT RESULTS LIKELY. By Telegraph.—Press Asin.—Copyright. Paris, Jan. 13. The Court fined the leaders of the General Federation of Labor, as it was .an illegal organisation, and ordered its lissolution. The proceedings were the outcome of the railway strike in March, 1920.—Au5.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Paris. Jan. 14. The judgment diesolving the Confederation of Labor is likely to important consequences. The committee published its intention to act outside the law, and says that no national Government could permit the existence of mother which under the pretence of trade unionism was established by a minority of agitators, and contrasts the federation’s war services with the new revolutionary policy based on a network of alliances with powerful foreign irade unions which were exposed to internationalism. The Government was tound to support the demonstrations of resistance of working classes against the confederatibn’s policy and assist the stimulation of labor activities within )he legal limit. • A member of the executive council of |ha confederation declared that the organisation would continue operations, •specially as 4500 affiliated unions conbnued to exist.—Reuter.
