THE RARAWA. •The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning with passengers and 90 tons of general cargo. She sailed again for Onehunga at 8.20 p.m. THE WEST MAHWAH. The West Mahwah is not expected to reach New Plymouth until Wednesday, when the berth now occupied by the Wangaratu should be vacant. The unloading of the latter vessel is progressing steadily, but it is expected that she will be here till Wednesday before bring ready to proceed to Wanganui. FLORA TO-MORROW. The Flora is expected to leave Wellington to-day for New Plymouth with general cargo. She should arrive here to-morrow. TALUNE TO SAIL. The Union Company states that the Talune will sail from Auckland for the Eastern Pacific at noon to-day. The places of the men who gave notice have now been filled. PAKHHA DUE ON SUNDAY. A wireless message from tire Shaw, Savin and Albion liner Pakeha advises that she will arrive at Wellington to-morrow with about 500 passengers. CORNWALL FROM NEW YORK. The steamer Cornwall is to leave Auckland to-day in continuation of her voyage from New York. The vessel is due at Wellington on Monday with 3000 tons of cargo to discharge there. WAIMATE AT ST. JOHN. Cable advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that their liner Waimatfc arrived at St. John on the lOth inst. from Avonmouth to load for New Zealand ports. RIMUTAKA AT NEWPORT NEWS. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that their liner Rimutaka arrived at Newport News last Sunday, en route from Southampton to Auckland and Wellington. ’ TREVALGAN FROM MONTREAL, The New Zealand Skipping Company advise that the steamdJ Trevalgan, which arrived at Auckland on Wednesday from Montreal via Panama, will not be able to get a berth at Auckland until to-day owing to a congestion of shipping at that port. The vessel Is now expected to leave Auckland next Thursday for Wellington, where she is due on the 23rd inst. EX-GERMAN LINER PURCHASED. A cable from London states that the Eastern Australian Shipping Company has purchased the ex-German liner Swakopmund. SALVAGE OF THE INCA. A cable from Sydney says the Union Company has issued a writ claiming £12,000 for the salvage of the Inca by the Cosmos between December 15 and 18. The writ was nailed to the mast in accordance with the usual custbm.. DEEPENING NEWCASTLE ENTRANCE. A cable from Sydney states that the entrance to Newcastle harbour is to be deepened several feet. A rock drilling plant will commence work to-day. The navigation office warns mariners to exercise care when passing. MANUKA LEFT SYDNEY. Cable advice has been received by the Union Company that their Inter-State passenger steamer Manuka left Sydney at 10 a.m. on Thursday direct for Wellington, where she Is due on Monday morning.
