DISPOSAL OF WOOL.

NW ZEALAND’S POSITION. AN IMPORTANT CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. An important conference will take place in Wellington to-morrow between the Board of Agriculture and the wool committee of Dominion farmers which was established last year. The principal business to be discussed is the position in regard to wool, shipping freights, etc. One big question fanners are interested in is what is to be done with the surplus wool clip, which is in the hands of the Imperial Government, upon the expiration of present contracts. It has to be decided whether New Zealand is to be linked up with the new scheme between the Imperial authorities and Australia, or whether a similar scheme will require to be evolved for the disposal of New Zealand wool.
