LORD HAIG HONORED.
DESPITE LABOR’S PROTEST. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Jan. 12. The Bradford City Council decided, by 58 votes to 17, to confer the freedom of the city on Field-Marshal Lord Haig. Labor members opposed it on the grounds that it was the wrong moment to honor militarism. The council will also confer a similar honor on a representative of the rank and file.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
