DEPORTATION DIFFICULTY. By Telegraph.—Press Asan.—Copyright Received Jan. 14, 12.30 a.m. Washington, Jan. 12. It is understood that President Wilson will finally decide whether O’Callaghan (the Mayor of Cork, who reached New York as a stowaway) will remain in the United States. It is indicated that the State and Labor Departments have disagreed as to O’Callaghan’s status. Mr. Davis ordered his deportation, but the Labor Department held that O’CalTaghaji’fe claim that he is a political refuges is valid. Mr. Davis pointed out that O’Callaghan could not Be- a political’ refugee, since De Valera voluntarily returned to the country from which (PCallaghau came.
