The liner Warigaratta (British-India), which is under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company, l arrived yesterday _ morning at 6.30 o’clock from Wellington and berthed about 7.30 o’clock. She commenced loading meat from the Smart Road Freezing Works about 11 o’clock, and was loading meat from the Waitara Works of Borthwick and Sons, Ltd., during the afternoon. The vessel will probably sail on Monday for Wanganui and Wellington to complete Homeward loading. Captain A. C. <3. Horscroft is in command, and has associated with him the following officers: —Mr. G. M. Davis, chief officer; Mr. E. A. Balleald and Mr. L. Ford, second officers; Mr. K. G. Pullman, third officer; Mr. A. Henderson, purser; Dr. J. Reid, surgeon; Marconi opelratots, Mr. H. West Ist, M. R. W. iSerman 2nd; Mr. J. Murison, chief engineer; Mr. W. McCaaley, second; Mr. J. N. McCoy and J. Currie, third; Mr. F. W. Alexander and ’. McFarland fourth; Mr. A. E. Nelson and Mr. J. Kipling fifth; Mr. D. Coates, chief refrigerating engineer; Mr. A. C. Lockie, second. The vessel also carries 39 cadets or apprentices who are undergoing a- course training for officers, and the total crew is 140. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa is due to arrive from' Onehunga at 5.3» o’teloclc th’fl meaning Witfc passengers and cargo. She will sail on the return trip at 8.20 p.m. KUMARA FROM AUSTRALIA. The Kumara is due here at the end of the month from Australia to load. She will take 15,000 freight carcases of meat, from the works of the Farmers’ Meat Company (Smart Road), and Borthwick and Sons, Ltd., Waitara, and 20,000 boxes of butter and 7000 crates of cheese as well as a quantity of general cargo. From here she will sail for Wanganui to continue loading. | MANUKA FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company expected the Manuka to get away from Sydney yesterday for Wellington, where she is due on Monday. The vessel is timed to sail from Wellington on the following Thursday on the return trip to Sydney and Hobart. THE CANADIAN WINNER. ? The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Winner is due at Sydney next Thursday from Vancouver. The vessel will proceed thence to Melbourne and Auckland. The Canadian Winner is due at Auckland about the middle of February to complete discharge and to load for Vancouver. BELLBUCKLE LEFT NEW YORK. The U.S. and A. Line chartered steamer Bellbuckle left New York on December 15 cargo-laden for Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, Hobart, Melbourne, and Sydney. The vessel is due at Wellington about next Wednesday.
