The New Plymouth representatives were defeated by 9 wickets in a two innings match against Inglewood, and Tikorangi beat Urenui on the first innings. NEW PLYMOUTH v. INGLEWOOD , Batting first, New Plymouth scored 72 (H. Hoffmann 20, and A. H. Hart 18). , Inglewood replied with 71, of which L. . Sutherland made 32. In the second in- , Pino’s New Plymouth were all out for 34 against the bowling of Sutherland and Coutts. Macdonald, with 13, was the principal scorer.
