COAL OUTPUT BETTER.
STEADY WORK IN WAIKATO. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Taupiri and Rotowaro coal minec are working steadily, but have not since the holidays bee# fully mannfd, this being due to some of the miners having extended their holidays. The Taupiri Company, however, expects to have a full complement of men by the beginning of next week. Since work was resumed the miners have been drifting back to the mines, and the output of coal has been showing a steady daily increase. The mines are being kept fully supplied with coal trucks, and should this be maintained coal merchants and industries dependent upon the Waikato coal mines for supplies should be able to accumulate stocks in the near future.
