GIFT FROM YALE UNIVERSITY. By Telegraph.—Press Association Christchurch, Last Nignv. The possibility of securing a site on Banks Peninsula for the large photographic and refracting offered by the Yale University is bemg considered by the Canterbury Progressive League. The Yale offer proposes that two American astronomers should be sent to NewZealand to use the telescope for about half of the time available, but that New Zealand should provide additional astronomers and the necessary staff
