MOTOR ACCIDENT.

TWO MEN INJURED. Two men, Mr. J. Grant, V.C., and Mr. Alilligan, have been admitted to the Hawera Hospital suffering from injuries sustained through a motor car going over a bank at Afanutahi on Monday night. Mr. Alilligaji had his head badly cut, and had lost a great deal of blood when admitted to the hospital. His elbow had been dislocated, but this had been attended to by Dr. AfcGhie previously. He was also suffering from abrasions on the leg. The extent of Mr. Grant’s injuries do not seem to be as bad as first expected. No bones are reported to be broken, but Air. Grant is suffering from cuts and severe bruises.—Star.
