SCULPTRESS’ IMPRESSIONS. London, Dec 2. Mrs. Clare Sheridan, cousin of Mr. Win- ■ ston Churchill, who recently returned to London after executing busts of Lenin and Trotsky, describes Trotsky sitting for his bust with an analytical look He has mephistopholian eyebrows, and animated eyes, which flash. This is well known in Russia. People ask, “Have you seen Trotsky’s eyes?” and he is called the wolf. The sculptress and Trotsky discussed many things, including Shakespeare, Byron, and high politics. Trotsky that England was Russia’s most dangerous enemy. Mrs. Sheridan interjected, “Not France?” and • Trotsky. replied, “No, not France. They are just noisy, hysterical women making scenes there, but in England it is different.”
