INSTITUTE OF SURVEYORS By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland. Last Nigh*. The New Zealand Institute of Surveyors held its annual meeting here, Mr. J. Strauchon presiding. The balancesheet showed a deficiency of £5 9s 8d on the year’s working. It was agreed to increase the annual subscription to £2 2s, and to abolish life membership by the impoundment of subscriptions, substituting life membership after 35 years of continuous financial membership. Mr. A .H. Bridge \|(as elected president, and Messrs. Wall (Wanganui), Ledger (Nelson), and Seddon (Wellington) were appointed councillors.
