LATEST LONDON REPORT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received Jan. 7, 9.5 p.m. London, Jan. 6. The butter market is very quiet. Retailers are not taking their full allotments of Government butter, the price of which is likely to be reduced. The Government is buying Danish at 276 s f.o.b. The cheese market is firmer. Canadian white, on spot, is quoted at 152 s to 1545, and colored at 156 s to 1605. Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
