RIOT AT SALE OF CROP. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. New York, Jan. 4. A telegram from Lexington (Kentucky) states that extraordinary scenes occurred at Maysville, Louisville, Carlisle, and other cities in the State when the tobacco crop was put on sale and buyers offered only 10 per cent of the 1920 prices. Tobacco that sold at 34 •ents la£t year brought three cents per pound. The farmers rioted and attacked the buyers. Feeling ran very high, and she authorities suspended all sales.
