WIFE FOUND DEAD.

NEW SOUTH WALES TRAGEDY. WOMAN A NATIVE OF NEW ZEALAND. On the night of December 27th. at Rowraville (New South Wales), Mrs. Mary Kathleen Firth, wife of Charles Firth, farmer, was found dead near the pound yard on the edge of the town with her throat cut. Firth was found alongside his wife with a gash in his throat, but he was conscious. Firth alleged that his wife attempted to murder him, and then cut her own throat. A razor found near the scene of the tragedy has been identified as Firth’s property. The husband’s condition was critical. Mrs. Firth, who was born in New Zealand, was only 25 years of age.
