FEVERISH ACTIVITY EXHIBITED. By Telegraph.—Prew Assn.—Copyright London, Jan. 4. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Chronicle states that the reorganisation of Germany’s industries is proceeding with feverish energy, notably in the case of glass manufacture. This industry made great progress in England during the war but has languished since the armistice. One of the most important incidents is the unification of the electric light bulb industry whereby the Osram Company secures a virtual monopoly -»f the manufacture of bulbs in Germany, its capital being raised to 250,006,000 marks.—Aus.-N.Z- Cable Assn.
