The Commonwealth revenue for the half year ended December is considerably in excess of the estimate. Customs totalled £16,729,000, and postal revenue £3,931,000, being respectively £7,146,000 and £605,000 above the receipts of the previous corresponding half-year.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
