Germany's reply to the last French Note regarding disarmament and violations of the Versailles Treaty has been communicated to Cabinet. It says it is impossible to carry out the Spa protocol, which Germany has loyally tried to carry out. The Note concludes that Germany does not believe that the object of the protocol was to demand the impossible, and the German Government can say that it has done everything possible.—Aus.N.Z.
