DEATH OF EDMUND BLANC.
DESCENDANT OF A BONAPARTE. London, Dec. 13. The death is announced at Paris of Edmond Blanc, the well-known sportsman and a descendant of Prince Roland Napoleon.—Sydney Sun.
[Prince Roland* 4 Napoleon was a son of Pierre Napoleon, and a lineal descendant of Jerome Napoleon (brother of Napolc...i I.) who, under the Empire, was the King of Westphalia. Prior to the inauguration of the Second Empire under Napoleon 111., the descendants of Jerome Napoleon were particularly active in bringing about the coup d'etat which eventually placed Louis Napoleon on the throne of his uncle. There were many escapades inseparable from the life of Pierre Napoleon, and in November, 1880, one of the direct line of Jerome Bonaparte became allied to Mdlle. Marie Blanc, whose grandmother had been a lady-in-waiting at the Palace of Sair.t Cloud in the days of the First Empire. Roland Bonaparte married Princess Constantine Radziwill, and Edmond Blanc is a grandson of that union.]
