The Rarawa left Onehubga yesterday afternoon for New Plymouth with passengers and cargo, and is expected to arrive here at 5.30 this morning. She will sail again for Onehunga at 8.20 this eveping. ' FLORA SAILS, The Flora compleAd discharging her cargo from southern ports, and sailed late last night for Wellington. CORINNA FROM SOUTH. The Corinna was scheduled to leave Dunedin yesterday for New Plymouth via way ports with general cargo to discharge here. She will probably arrive here about Tuesday. THE WEST MAHWAH. Tho West Mahwah is expected at Wellington at the end of the week from Auckland and Napier. From Wellington the West Mahwah comes to New Plymouth, but the date of her arrival is not known yet. THE R.M.S. MAKURA.
The Union Shipping Company advise that the Makura was expected to arrive at Suva at 11 o’clock on Sunday morning. She was to leave there again on Monday morning, and should arrive at Auckland to-unorrow. She is announced to leave Auckland for Sydney at 5 o’clock to-morrow evening. PALOONA FROM MELBOURNE. Cable advice has been received by the Union Company that, the Paloona sailed frojn Melbourne at 7 o’clock last Friday evening for Wellington, direct. The vessel is bringing 174 passengers. She is due at Wellington tomorrow. TOFUA’S TRIP CANCELLED. The Union Company announces that owing to the shortage of coal the January sailing of the Tofua for San Francisco, from Wellington, has been cancelled. A steamer will leave Wellington for San Francisco about February 1. SERVICE TO QUEENSLAND. A London cable says that with a view to reopening direct shipping to Queensland via Torres Strait, interrupted by the war, the British India Company will dispatch the Walpara as a trial vessel on January 29.
