COUNT AND HIS JEWELS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received Jan. 4, 5.5 p.m. Berne, Jan. 3. Count Esterhazy has informed the police that he has been robbed of jewels costing 180,000,000 crowns. The police arrested a young Swiss of good family, and recovered the jewels at his house. Count Esterhazy was delighted, but the Berne police telegraphed the Hungarian Government, who replied that Count Esterhazy had smuggled the jewels out of Hungary. The American Federation of Labor has announced that it will urge a Congressional investigation into wage cuts and factory closings.
