SUPREMACY IN THE AIR.

3ERMAN PREPARATIONS. London, Dec. 12. The correspondent of the Times at Berlin states that despite the restrictions coritdined in the Versailles Treaty Germany is making the most thorough preparations for an attempt to gain the commercial supremacy of the air as soon as the industry is freed. Shq. has completed arrangements for a great output of airships and aeroplanes, and the Government is encouraging factories to maintain the utmost efficiency ready for the great rush when the time arrives.

The Air Department is preparing international air traffic agreements for important trans-German services, linking up with the air routes across the border countries, as, for instance, the South of France-Toulon service to Algeria and Morocco.
