It is stated that D’Annunzio goes to South America. Women participated in the fighting, two being killed. D’ANNUNZIO GOING TO IRELAND. Received Jan. 2, 5.5 p.m Rome, Jan. 1. D’Annunzio has signed the protocol for the evacuation of Fiume, after demanding various concessions in deference to his dignity and honor, which were all refused. One demand was to march out from Fiume at the head of his legionaries, with his colors flying It is reported that d’Annunzio has ieturned to the King his war decorations, and intends to live in Ireland.—Aus. and N.Z.
