STEWARDS' STRIKE.
MOERAKI SAILS YESTERDAY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 31, 12.10 a.m. Sydney, Dec. 30. The Moeraki sailed at four o'clock for Wellington, and the cooks gave notice overnight, but 'before it expired the vessel cleared the wharf. The secretary oi the Transporters' Federation states that the federation made no recommendation that the stewards should return to work, but it is solidly behind therfi in their fight.—Aus. and N.Z.
