THE RARAWA The Rarawa is due to arrive from Onehunga at 5.30 this morning with passengers and cargo.* She will sail on the return trip at 8.20 p.m., and is expected to arrive here again on Friday morning. DISCHARGING COMMENCES TO-DAY. The work of discharging the vessels now In port, which haa been held up during tte holidays, will be commenced this morning. It is hoped to have the Rosamond ready to sail to-morrow. Tile ICowhal haa 700 tons of coal to discharge, and the date of her sailing is indefinite. 'The Tamon Maru No. 8 is not expected to get away before tte New Year. GANGES LEFT CALCUTTA Cable advice received by the Union Company states that the steamer Ganges left Calcutta on December 22 for Singapore and Samarang, to complete her loading for New Zealand. She will call at Newcastle en route for bunkers, and will malio Auckland her first port of call in the Dominion. MANUKA FROM SYDNEY. An exceptionally fine passage was experienced by the Union Company inter-State passenger steamer Manuka, which arrived at Wellington on Monday. The Manuka left Sydney at 10 a.m. on Thursday, end had fine weather and calm seas, with a fair wind and clear sky throughout the trip. The vessel brought a, comparatively small cargo, which Includes transhipments ex the Ormara,- TisnaTen, Aristo, Aki Maru, Tarilla and Upada. NORA NIVEN LEAKING. ! ®y Telegraph.—Press Association.
