MILITARY SHIELD.
WON BY NELSON COLLEGE. Br Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The Passmore Shield, in competition among the secondary school cadets of New Zealand, has been awarded to Nelson College. In the preliminary inspection . the leading schools in each military district were: Auckland, King's College; Wellington, Scot:, College; Canterbury, Nelson College; (Hiijio, Gtago Boys' High School. The iinal inspection by Colonel Chesney and Captains Henderson and Brock declared Nelson College the winner for New Zealand. The competition comprised infantry and physical training, and musketry.
