THE RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived from Onelnmga yesterday morning with passengers and cargo She sailed on the return trip at 8.20 p.m., and !s due here again to-morrow mo/nlng. WAIPOBI ARRIVES. The Walporl (1019 tons) arrived yesterday morning from South Australia, via Lv'telton and Wellington. She fas 1100 tons >t salt and phosphates to discharge and 430 ions of general cargo which she picked up at Wellington. It Is expected that she will ,alte two days unloading after which she will sail for Newcastle direct. THE ROSAMOND TO-MORROW. The Rosamond Is scheduled to leave Greymouth to-day for New Plymouth with 4 cargo of coal. She 13 expected to arrive to-morrow. THE WEST JfAHWAH. The New Plymouth agents advise that the West Mahwah has wirelessed that she will not arrive at Auckland until to-morrow. She will arrive at New Plymouth In January. BUAPEHU LEAVING HOME. Cable advice has been recieved from London by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company stating that the liner Ruapehu Is expected to sail from London for" New 'Zealand porn on January 14. UNION COMPANY'S FLEET. The Tofua left San Francisco at noon on the 16th for Wellington. She is due on Jan. The Waltemata left San Francisco on Dec. 18th for Vancouver to complete loading for Auckland. Melbourne, and Sydney. The Paloona Is due at the Bluff at 2 a.m. on Sunday from Melbourne with English malls. There are one hundred bags for the North Island. THE PORT NICHOLSON. The C. and D. l'.ner Port Nicholson. Is to leave Sydney for Auckland to-morrow. She will be due at that port on December 27, and will afterwards proceed to Napier and Wellington. DORSET'S ROUGH TRIP. The Dorset arrived at Atiekand from Southampton on Friday afternoon and berthed at the Queen's wharf. She left the Home port on October 28 and proceeded to Newport News, where she arrived on November 10. Three days later she sailed for Colon, which was reached on November 20th. On the following day she left for Auckland, a call being made at Pitcalrn Island on December 4th. On the voyage across the Atlantic Ocean the Dorset experienced a succession of heavy gales lasting for four days. The weather then cleared up, and favorable conditions prevailed until after leaving Pitcalrn Island, when the steamer encountered westerly gales for eight days and easterly gales for two days. Heavy seas broke on board fore and aft, and the vessel rolled and labored heavily but sustained no damage. She brought 28,') passengers for New Zealand ports, 77 of whom were for Auckland. She also brought 3400 tons of general merchandise for Auckland. Her passengers were landed by the ferry steamer Eagle. Captain SomersVlne is in command. From Auckland, the Dorset will proceed to Wellington.
