PUBLIC NOTICES. NEW PLYMOUTH 'HORTICULTURAL SOCIKTY. I DECEMBER SHOW. 'PHE Prize Money will be payable at the Secretary's Ofliee TO-DAY | (Monday, December 20). VAL DUFF, Secretary. TO REDUCE THE COST OP LIVING. T HAVE decided to curtail my expenses from January Ist, 1021, by running my Store at. Fitzroy on STRICTLY CASH LINES, and also by cutting out calling for orders. By doing so I will be able to reduce expenses by having no books to keep nor bad debts to contend with, and thus put me in a position to sell goods at the smallest price. My customers will be gainers, as they will not have to pay for other people's purchases, nor the extra expense entailed by the daily calling for orders. I trust the public in general, and customers in particular, will see the benefits they will derive by sending their orders along to me, thus'' receiving the full value for their cash, and helping themselves and me to reduce the cost of living. , I will deliver goods as heretofore if the orders are sent in with the cash or cash on delivery.
