NORTH TARANARI COMPETITION. SATURDAY'S PLAY The. North Taranaki competition was continued on Saturday, the second round being opened. On the Recreation Grounds, South heal North by 44 runs, the principal score in the match being made by Heskett (South) 71. Old Boys had a margin of an innings'and 10 runs at the conclusion at the game against High School. NORTH V. SOUTH. Of South's total of 158 (Heskett 71, F. Shepherd 22,' and A. Morrison 20, were the most successful batsmen. Of the bowlers for the opposition, Quickfall secured five wickets for IS runs. North replied with 114 (Macdonaid 54, Carey 21).
