COMMUNISTS IN CONTROL. l-y Telesraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Tokio, Dec. 16. Reports state that having surrendered to Chita, the unification of the Far East of Russia appears complete, With the Communists in full control.
Japan, through General Takayauagi, repeats her warning that she will not permit Communistic practices where Japanese troops are garrisoned, but apparently the Russians intend to disregard Japan hereafter. It is reported that Chita has been advised from Moscow that whatever military help is needed against Japan will be forthcoming. <■■
A large portion of the Japanese press ig girding at the Government over the complete breakdown of its Siberian policy and advising the immediate evacuation homeward of all the forces.—Aug.N.Z. Cable Assn.
