"Right-oli!" was hie demeanour throughout his two ttis.]k, and "Right-oh!" is aaid to have been his reply yesterday when the Sheriff of Auckland (Mr. A. Stubbt) told him in the condemned cell at Mount Eden Gaol that the Executive Council had made no recommendation to quash the ofder for his execution Hit demeanour throughout has thus bemftaeMnged.
So far Thorn has made no statement or confession ill regafd to the crime of which he has been found guilty. The date of til* efeetttiob his not yet been set down by the sheriff, but it is understood that it will probably be fixed for Tuesday, December 21.
