ANZAC MEMORIAL.
AT LONE PINE, GALLIPOL..

Wellington, Laßt Night,
The Minister for Defence has been informed that an Anzac Memorial it to be erected at Pine, where ont of the bitterest fights of the Gallipoli campaign took place. All the bodies on Gallipoli. have now been gathered Into twenty-four cemeteries. The erection of the memorial and of headstones, in the Gallipoli cemeteries is to be started in the spring of next year. Preliminary road construction is at present n hand.
