Next Saturday's race for the sculling championship of New Zealand between Hanuan (the holder), of Blenhelim, and I'ogwell, of Sydney, has been abandoned, as Hauuau lihb been ordered to give up training for at least two mouths owing to the recrudescence of an old injury to his knee. He has had to forfeit his deposit, and tie title reverts to Fogwell.
