The leading billiard players and firms gave a luncheon to Hooper at the official headquarters. Hooper said this would be his last championship effort, owing to failing eyesight.

Mr. Dixon, chalrijmn of the Billiards' Council. presented Hooper with a diamond studded gold medal, struck by the late Billiards' Association In honor of the Australasian championship, which cpuld not be presented before owing to the war's interruption.—Aus.S.Z. Cable Assn.
