The crew of the destroyer Espero mutinied and arrived at Fiume to join d'Annunzio, who, K on boarding the vessel, found the commander lashed to a gun because he refused to join the mutineers. The commander reproached d'Annunzio with high treason. —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
