DIFFERENCE OVER PRICE OF GOLD,

Sir R. S. Home ajid Krassin continued their negotiations, which arc believed to be progressing, but there is a difference regarding the price of gold sent to England, Russia claiming the market price, but it is pointed out that the Bank of England recently paid the statutory price for a Continental shipment. Protests have been made against treating Russia preferentially.—Alls, and N.Z. Cable Assn.
