EXHIBITION OP SPRING BLOOMS. Lovers of flowers will be provided with an attractive exhibition of beautiful spring blooms at the Whiteley Hall this afternoon and this evening, when the New Plymouth Horticultural Society will hold its annual spring show. New Plymouth is noted for its many pretty gardens which are always full of a wealth of color, and all the. leading growers will send many exhibits to today's show, while many w-lio cultivate (lowers on a smaller scale will also seek encouragement in their hobby by competing. Though the weather has lately been very unsettled the damage to gardens lifts not been so extensive as one might expect, and this will be evidenced to-day. In addition to the variety of blooms in the different classes, which have all filled well, several local growers will make special exhibits, and these are always looked forward to as a notable feature. The show will be open from 2 to 5.30 this afternoon, and from 1 to 9.30 to-night.
