Site sailed on Hie return trip at the usual time last night. FLORA FROM SOUTH. The Flora arrived from South Island ports soon after noon yesterday with about 800 tons of general cargo. She will sail to-morrow for Wellington, after loading 12,000 cfates of cheese for transhipment to the Port Kembla. TAMOX MARU, Xo. 0. The Tamon Maru, No. «, arrived from Kobe (Japan) yesterday with 1900 tons of superphosphates to discharge here. She will probably be in port for about a fortnight or three weeks, and will then probably sail for Wellington. CORINNA OK SATURDAY. The Corinna is due on Saturday morning from Onehunga, and after loading dairy produce (butter and cheese) will sail for Wellington !n tho erenlng. SUSSEX AT ST. JOHN. Tl:e Sussex arrived it St. John on Nov. I 27 to load for Xew Zealand ports. RUAHIXK'S ITINERARY. The New Zealand Shipping Company's Ruahine left Southampton on December 2 for Wellington and Auckland, via Newport News, Kingston, and Panama. She is due at Wellington on January 27. WHAKATANE FOR FIJI. The New Zealand Shipping Company* liner Whakatane left London on November 2!) for Fiji and New Zealand ports. TAIROA'S LOADING BERTH. The Eastern Canadian loading berth fnr thc month of February has been allotted to the liner Tairoa. THE RARAXGA. The Xew Zealand Shipping Company advise that tl:s liner Raringa, from Home ports, left Colon for Auckland on November 27. PAPAROA LEFT COLON The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Paparoa, in continuation of her voyage from London to Xew Zealand left Colon on Friday, Dec. 3, and will call at Wellington about January sth to land her North Island passengers. Heavier buying and'higher rates for halfbred were the outstanding features of tho second wool sale this morning. Representatives of Home firms, felimongers, and New Zealand mills were present, and there was keener competition up to a point In nearly every class. Coarse wools grew weaker as the sale proceeded. Tho catalogue totalled "1881 bales. In the first part of the saie prices for halfbred wools- were up to \' t d per lb. better than at the November sale, while prices for three-quarter bred wools showed a decline of about %d a lb., and prices for coarse wools a decline of from >/id to %d iper lb.
