By Telegraph.—Presi A»3n— CopyrigM. Sydney, Dec. 7. The Agricultural Department has tested a machine which claims to offer a solution of the troublesome question of the sex of eggs. Of ltf eggs which the machine indicated contained males, eight produced males and eight females. Of 21 others which the machine backed as females, 13 yielded males and eight females. The report makes no comment. The High Court heard argument in an application by the Seamen's Union for an injunction against Walsh, secretary of the Sydney branch, in the course of which counsel for the union stated that the union executive council wished to suspend Walsh because of alleged misappropriation of funds and gross neglect of duty. The Judge announced that a Full Court would be set up to hear the suit. The Graft Inquiry concluded taking evidence. Mr. Cann repeated the statement that Mrs. Georgeson told him £SOO was given for the purpose of shutting up the Wheat Commission. She added that he went to Melbourne in order to put the case before his colleagues. Melbourne, Dec. 7.
