The team immediately rushed off to fulfil an engagement at a. carnival, in the tepid baths, where Herald annexed the 60 yards invitation race, and Beaurepaire won the 200 yards. Lily Beaurepaire was defeated by Miss Walrond in the neat dive by one point. Beaurepaire said the team only had a fortnight's training in Belgium, and this, combined with the cold watei*, was against the team reproducing its belt form. He considered the games were very badly managed.
