The first of (rials between Sydney mid Brisbane. promoted by the Automobile Clubs of Sew South Wales mid Queensland, was a success. Once again the Ruick Car performed well, Mr. P. A. Mcintosh winning. while Mr. \V\ Stuart took second place, ami iu petrol consumption the Buieks came out well ahead of the other competitors. The hill climbs were won by, Mr. Jloyd Kdkin's Vauxliall, and Mr. P. A. Morris (Mercer) scored fastest time. It was a fairly strenuous trial, but generally voted one of Iho most enjoyable Vet, promoted.
