TROTTING. OTAHUHU MEETING. By Telegraph.— Tress Association. Auckland, Nov. 27. The Otahuhu Trotting Club's spring meeting was ejienud to-day at Alexandra Park. The Epscmi ground lias undergone a complete transformation since the Auckland Trotting Club held their last meeting in April, seven months back, and though unuch remains to be done ere the place as laid out Is coia- • pleted, sufficient has been accomplished to bring out the boldness of tie scheme undertaken. In the course of a short speech, M'r. 1- Rowe (president of the A.T.C.), stated that up to the present the club had expended £3",000 on the scheme of improvements. The weather was fine to-day, and there was a large attendance. The totallsator handled £49,237, against £32,834 on the corresponding day' last year—an increase of £18,393 on last year's figures.
