A fifteen round professional contest between Havllah Uren, 9.6. and Direer Evans, 9.3, was fought in His Majesty's Theatre to-night, berore a very large attendance, for a purse of £2BO. The fight went the full distance, each man showing marked cleverness. Uren had the advantage of beigl-t and reach and showed to advantage at infighting, but Evan* evened matters up with his tricky footwork. The points were evenly divided, but the referee's decision In favor of Evans was a popular one.
