RAILWAY GRIEVANCE.
PROTEST FROM NAPIER. By Telsffrapli.—P*ess Association. Napier, Last Night. A meeting of Napier railway employees this evening carried a resolution strongly protesting against an instruction issued to-day by the General Manager that free passes and privilege tickets cannot be used in any district on December 24, 27, and 3.1, or January 1, or on relief and through, express train's between Wellington and Auckland and Auckland and Wellington from December 15 to January 5 inclusive, which, it is alleged, is a violation of'clause 23 of the latest agreement with the executive of the A.S.R.S.
