SHIPS FOR WHEAT. By Ttlegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Nov. 25. With a bumper harvest in view arrangements are being completed for the chartering of tonnage on a commensurate scale. Much has already been secured, but is not yet sufficient to move the great quantities of wheat and wool which will have to be* handled. The first shipments of wheat commence early hi December. DEALING WITH PESTS. Sydney, Nov. 25. living evidence before the Select Committee on Agriculture, a French bacteriologist, M." Francis Ray, representative of the Pasteur Institute, said he could have combatted the recent plague of mice with a virus which was on sale in France. The virus produced a disease in rats and mice which killed them in from eight to fourteen days. He also claimed that,he could successfully inoculate pigs against hog cholera and swine fever. THE NATIONALIST PARTY. Sydney, Nov. 25. Mr. Fuller, addressing the Nationalist, Conference, attacked the disloyalists. He stated: "We want Australian'sentiment with a big dash of British, not that spurious sentiment distilled by Germany, blended with Ireland." The conference passed a resolution against increased Parliamentary salaries, both State and Federal, and also favored a return to single electorates with pre-iu-entl.l v«ti_e—Rout.*
