CARRINGTON ROAD. (Prom a Correspondent.) The juvenile function held In the Harrington School room recently was a great success, the floor space being taxed to the utmost. The children's display of dancing was the chief centre (if attraction, the little ones executing the various evolutions with almost perfect grace and ease. The walls of the room were artistically decorated with ferns and flowers, being the work of the pupils and teachers; while the green of the native shrubs, blending with the blue and white colored uniforms of tho pupils, gave a most pleasing effect. Miss Blewman (assistant teacher) acted as pianist for the children's dances, and Mr. Botllton supplied the music for the adult programme, while Mr. Turner, who taught the dancing steps, acted as M.C. During the evening vocal items were rendered by Miss Blewman and Mr. Andrews, both performers on each occasion being heartily apnHuoed and recalled. Thanks are due to those ladles who attended to the supper arrangements and to the parents for their earnest endeavour to supply their children with uniforms.
