VIEWS OF METHODIST CONFERENCE. By Telerrapn.—Press Association. Masterton. Last Night. The Wellington District Methodist Conference this afternoon passed resolutions expressing pleasure that the Dominion authorities are taking steps to make the public exposure of indecent pictures an indictable offence, urging the Government to make more drastic the censorship of films, emphatically protesting against an increase being made in totalisator permits, placing on record its approval and appreciation of the action of Parliament in amending the Marriage Act, and expressing the opinion that the time is opportune for a forward movement to be taken in relation to the Bible in schools question.
