STRATFORD SPRING SHOW.

OPENING TO-DAY. MANY ATTRACTIONS. The Stratford Agricultural and Pastoral Association's eleventh annual spring show will be opened to-day, and tlie judging will commence promptly at 9 o'clock. The first day is regarded as the farmers' day, and it is expected that there will be a large attendance of the farming community to avail themselves of the splendid opportunities for inspecting some of the finest dairy stock in the Dominion. This afternoon leaping and other competitions will be held, including the maiden hunters' competition, pony leaping and riding competitions for ladies and boys. In addition the numerous side-shows will provide entertainment and amusement for the public, while the various trade exhibits will again prove a popular feature. The main attraction .at the show will, of coujrae, be the splendid examples of dairy stock on exhibition, the entry of these being particularly large, constituting a record for the Association and in some of the classes a record for the Dominion. Members of the'* Association are requested to have their tickets ready for production to the gate-keepers on arrival at the gate in order to save unnecessary delay. The Stratford Marble Bar advertises in this issue that early lunch will be available on both days from U a.m. till 1.30.
