PROFITEERING ALLEGEQ, w—■ SOME CASES WITHDRAWN. <; l By Tolegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At tlie Magistrate's Court to-day, Mr. Evans, S.M., was again occupied hearing tlie charges of profiteering laid by the Board of Trade against Wellington wholesale firms in connection with the sole oi tweed suitings. The Magistrate reserved his decision in the case oi Messrs Ding, Harris and Co., and Robert Wilson and Co. Counsel for tlie prosecution then announced that he had been instructed by the Board of Trade to withdraw the informations against R. Jamieson and Co., and Miller and Ahearn, because the Twins named had satisfied the Board that the cost of replacement would be almost as much, if not quite as much, us the. price at which they had sold, to tailors.
