A Constantinople message states that the arrival from the Crimea of 90,000 starving Russian refugees has created a complicated position. The French Government is considering the question of feeding the refugees and distributing them throughout Bulgaria, Serbia, and Greece. The Evening News correspondent reports that General Wrangel, interviewed, stated that he was forming the nucleus of a new army with the remains of his shattered forces. His infantry had provisionally gone to Gallipoli and the Cossacks to Lemnos. He attributed his defeat to the overwhelming forces of the Reds. General Wrangel claims that he saved all the rifles and machine-guns, but was forced to destroy his armored cars and tanks. "GIVE US BREAD." REFUGEES' -PATHETIC, PLEA. Received Nov. 22, 5.5 p.m. Constantinople, Nov. 21, Refugees from the Crimea, are on boara a crowded fleet lying off the city, and the'y are in a pitiable condition. They greet any approaching boats with cries for bread. ''For God's sake give us bread," is their cry. Received Nov. 22, 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 21. The Soviet armies, having overcome Wrangel, are now turning their attention to two other anti-Bolshevik forces led by Generals Petlura and Balasovitch. A Moscow wireless claims the former received a bad beating. The Reds captured Proseuroff, an important town east of ; the old Galician border, while General Balasovitch, who is operating north-west of Kieff, was pressed towards Pripct with the loss of 1440 prisoners.— Renter Service.
